Grass growth rates
for the past 9 years (2001-2009) and 2010, to date,
are shown in the Chart below.

These grass growth
data are derived from plots which are harvested at
the end of a 4-week re-growth cycle and the 2010
data are depicted in red.

Actual grass growth
rate for the 4-week period ending Sept 28th
was 34 kg DM/ha/day (red line on graph below). These
grass growth rates exceed the long-term average,
and, indeed, growth rates since early August have
exceeded the long-term average.
